There are no formal entry requirements to the Door Supervisor course, however the minimum age requirement for entry into this course is 18.
You will be asked to bring along Identification documents (drivers licence or passport) and 2 forms of proof of address (utility bill, bank statement etc) along with 3 passport size pictures.

What is the aim of this course?
The need for quality training of CCTV (PSS) Operatives has long been recognised. Too often a highly sophisticated system has been carefully planned, expertly installed and commissioned with little or no thought given to the training of those people responsible for its use. This three-day course is designed to assist companies in the provision of basic job training that meets the SIA requirements for licensing. Delegates will gain an in-depth understanding of the current legislation pertinent to their work and invaluable knowledge relating to the purpose and principles of CCTV surveillance systems.

This course is appropriate to new entrants to the industry; people transferring from other security functions, as well as those, whose job includes some elements of CCTV (PSS) surveillance, and existing security staff requiring a qualification in order to apply for an SIA licence.

If you fail the CCTV exam, you may resit for the exam at an extra cost of £50.

Results are available Online after 10 working days.

When will I receive my certificate?
Certficates are dispacted 6 - 8 weeks after successful course completion.

Do I need my certificate to apply for SIA Licence?
No, you do not need your certificate to apply for SIA Licence.
You can apply for SIA Licence as soon as you have your result.

Does this course involve practical work with CCTV systems?
Yes, this course involves hands-on experience working with CCTV systems.
Q:
It has been over 10 working days and I still have not got my result, what do I do?
You can check your result ONLINE from our website by entering your email adress and post code. However If you cannot see your result, please call us on our dedicated Results Line : 0845 838 7074 select (Option 3)
Q:
My name is spelt wrong on the certificate, what do I do?
If you name is spelt wrong on your certificate, you will have to send us a copy of your passport or driver's licence and we will re-issue you a new certificate, please note it takes over 10 days to recieve a new certificate.

What if my certificate is lost in the post?
A new certificate can be ordered at an extra cost of £20.
