Vehicle Immobilisation (QCF) - Wheel Clamping
(3 or 4 day course)
There are no formal entry requirements to the Vehicle Immobilisation course, however the minimum age requirement for entry into this course is 18.
You will be asked to bring along Identification documents (drivers licence, passport) and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement etc) along with 3 passport size pictures.

What is the aim of the Vehicle Immobilisers wheel clamping Course?
To work as a SIA Vehicle immobilisers (wheel clamper), SIA door Supervisors or SIA Security Guard in the UK you will need to have an SIA licence issued by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
One of the requirements of the SIA licence is that you hold a recognised qualification, and the BTEC (QCF) Level 2 National Certificate for vehicle immobilisers (wheel clamping) from EDEXCEL meets the requirement for the SIA Licence.
The SIA vehicle immobilisers (wheel clamper) course is run over three days and has 27 hours of tuition and 2 hours of exams. The exams consist of three multiple-choice papers.
