Minimum Age
This programme is suitable for learners aged 18+, 19+, in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

 

You will be required to complete distance learning part of the course before attending.

 

1. E-Learning

 

 

The course is taught in English, you will need a working knowledge of the English language for oral communication, reading and writing. The SIA have issued guidance to training providers that they should not teach English as part of a SIA licence to practice course, and no assistance is provided in any of the examinations. We can however provide educational guidance for students who may need to improve their command of the English language prior to attending one of our courses. If in doubt ask.

 

Your Trainer will carry out English Language and literacy test on the first day of training as part of an initial assessment. At the end of this initial assessment the trainer will inform you if you have a good chance of passing this SIA course. If the trainer cannot accept you on the course your fees will be refunded.

 

You will be required to bring along Identification documents  (drivers licence, passport) and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement etc) along with 3 color passport size pictures.
