Unit 2 - Working as a Door Supervisor

This unit covers the following topics

  • Module 2: Civil and Criminal Law
  • Module 3: Searching
  • Module 4: Arrest
  • Module 5: Drugs Awareness

Unit 3 - Conflict Management
 
Guided Learning Hours: 8
 
Assessment Method: Multiple Choice Questions
 
This unit covers the following topics
  • Module 1: Avoding Conflict and Reducing Personal Risk
  • Module 2: Defusing Conflict
  • Module 3: Resolving and Learning from Conflict
  • Module 4: Emergency Procedures
  • Module 4b: Application of Communication Skills and Conflict Management for Door Supervisors
 
Unit 4 - Physical Intervention skills for the private security industry
 
Guided Learning Hours: 10
 
Assessment Method: Multiple Choice Questions / Practical Observation
 
This unit covers the following topics
  • Module 1: Introduction to Physical Skills
  • Module 2: Disengagement Techniques
  • Module 3: Escorting Techniques
 
 

It is a mandatory requirement for training providers to run the course for 30 contact hours in addition to 8 hours of distance learning. The distance learning method must be acceptable by the awarding organisation or else the course may run for full hours.
