To authorise the sale and supply of alcohol a venue or business will need to have a Designated Premises Supervisor who holds a Personal Licence, but to become a licence holder, an applicant will first need to obtain a Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders Qualification<\/a> by completing a training course and passing an exam, but is passing the examination as hard as you think it is?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exams can be daunting to say the very least, and passing an examination that could kick-start a new career or business can be a pretty stressful experience, however, applying for a Personal Licence and completing the Personal Licence Training Course is probably not as difficult as you think, on the contrary, anyone can become a Personal Licence holder and a Designated Premises Supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, is the personal licence exam difficult?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Not at all. Upon the conclusion of the Personal Licence Training Course, delegates will need to pass a 40-question multiple choice exam will be conducted. At least 28 out of the 40 questions in the exam must be correct in order to complete the exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The questions on the Personal Licence Training Course<\/a> exam are covered on the actual course itself. The course covers various aspects of a Personal Licence holder and goes through the legal responsibilities of a licence holder including the effects of alcohol and disorderly conduct and the duty of care of Personal Licence holders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The questions in the exam are based on multiple answers in which the delegate will have to showcase that they have understood what was covered in the course and the responsibilities expected of the Personal Licence holder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only when the exam has been successful passed will the delegate receive the Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders Qualification<\/a> and be able to apply for a Personal Licence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
