This course is designed to enhance your ability to respond to drug related emergency situations and protect patrons from harm.

Learning outcomes:

Understand what is meant by harm reduction

Understand what is meant by a drug and how they can be classified (and we will introduce you to a simple form of drug classification know as the Drugs Wheel)

Be able to describe a range of drugs commonly taken in the night time economy, their perceived benefits and associated risks

To identify a range of practical harm reduction measures that can be used to keep customers safe
