Luxury Retail Security Officer, Birmingham

Job Title: Luxury Retail Security Officer 

Location:  Birmingham 

Availability: Full-time, including weekends 

Dress Code: Black Suit, White Shirt, Black Tie, Black smart shoes

Experience: Desired but not essential

Job Purpose: Security Officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the assigned site in our clients stores. This role requires the ability to respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

As one of our Security Officers, you will play a crucial role as the first point of contact for visitors and customers. Your primary responsibilities will include patrolling the premises,  and implementing access control measures. You will be responsible for protecting property and individuals from theft, assault, and safety hazards.

Requirements:

Essential:

1. Possession of a valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
2. Right to work in the UK
3. Flexibility, commitment to work day shifts including weekends
4. Must be punctual for shifts
5. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with visitors, customers, staff, and partner agencies

Preferred but not essential:

1. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, however training can be given
2. First Aid certificate and Fire Marshall training
3. Have completed ACT training or willing to complete this before job starts
4. Excellent concentration skills, with the ability to remain focused and attentive during shifts
5. Keen attention to detail to identify and address potential security threats
6. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, dealing with emergency situations efficiently and effectively
