His journey began with a recommendation from a friend and an SIA course he took with Get Licensed. Despite a long journey to the training centre, any scepticism Moses had quickly vanished thanks to his instructor.

“He made me feel like, okay, I’m in the right place,” Moses recalled.

That feeling of value was something Moses carried with him into his first shifts, where supportive colleagues helped him overcome his initial nerves. This support allowed him to focus on his personal goal: to approach security as a service role. This mindset led to a moment that has become the bedrock of his motivation. While working in a shopping centre, he helped a lady who needed directions. As she was leaving, she approached him and said something he’ll never forget: “You have a kind soul.”
