1. You have already applied for an SIA licence

4. Your employer has agreed to sponsor you
Do you already work in the security industry? If your employer is willing to grow your career for his or her own benefit, you could get them to pay a portion of your training. Some employers will offer to pay the full price, while others will subsidise the amount. Either way, if you don’t ask you don’t get. How to work in the security sector
If you are interested in working in the security sector, whether it be as a Door Supervisor, Security Guard or CCTV Operative, you will need to obtain a SIA Licence.
