This can include theft, assault, kidnapping, assassination and harassment.

To develop the concept of celebrity and business risk mitigation as a solo and team operation and to produce effective industry specific development and plans to support effective protection provision in a difficult and security risked situation.

The average bodyguard / personality protection operative makes £55,000 per year while some sign contracts for £700 per day or £180,000 per year. Location, experience, training, job description, and danger are the major factors in determining pay.

As well as the relevant training and license. Background checks are commonly required for this position. The screening process includes a fingerprint check, drug test, criminal background check, and reference verification. Any outstanding issue on one's criminal record can negatively affect employment chances. Bodyguard / personality protection operatives also need to maintain excellent endurance and athleticism to meet the demands of this job.

In some cases, you will need to complete continuing education requirements to maintain license. This ensures skills are up-to-date and knowledge of new laws and policies are understood.
