The SIA Licence is very versatile and will allow you to work in many different roles:
✅ Bars, Pubs, Restaurants
✅ Music Events
✅ Festivals & Concerts
✅ Retail Security Guarding
✅ Office Receptions
✅ Shopping Mall
The course runs over 6 consecutive days and is divided into 4 units and covers everything from the legal aspects of working in security to the latest physical intervention techniques. NEW SIA Course Update (April 2021) From April 1st this course will become a 6 day course instead of a 4 day course. In addition, you must have a first aid qualification before you can take the training. This should be an Emergency First Aid at work certificate or higher.

Firstly and slightly closer to the venue, you could park at the Hove train station and walk to the venue from there. This will cost around £5.80 per day and is only a 6 minute walk to your course.
Or, if you don't mind parking a little further away, you can park at the Greyhound stadium for free and walk to our venue, taking around 15 minutes.
Bristol is a fantastic city to explore, and with our venue being very central, if you are local then walking to the venue could be a great option. Therefore if you are within walking distance of the city centre, or have easy access to public transportation to get you nearby, you should have no problems walking to our venue! Just make sure you plan your route and leave plenty of time to get there.
If you’re travelling quite far and would like to stay somewhere close to the venue whilst you train for your door supervisors license, there are a whole host of hotels available to book from. The cheapest option is most likely the Travelodge Brighton which is around a 25 minute walk from our venue. Most hotels in Brighton will include facilities like WIFI, Parking, Breakfast, and many more.
