The station is in London fare zone 6 and is served by South Western Railway trains from London Waterloo.
Nearby Surbiton station is on the South West Main Line, southbound services link Surbiton to destinations in Surrey and Hampshire, such as Hampton Court, Guildford, Woking, and Basingstoke.
By Taxi

By Bus
Kingston is served by two bus stations, Cromwell Road and Fairfield, and a large number of bus stops, with destinations across Greater London and Surrey including links directly to Heathrow Airport.
By Road
The Kingston Bypass passes to the south and east of Kingston. The bypass carries the A3, which links the area to Wandsworth, Clapham, and the City of London to the north. To the south, the A3 runs to Portsmouth via Guildford.
From Brighton, you would take the A23 then take the M23 and M25 to Hook Rd/A243 in Chessington. Turn off onto the A243, at the end of which turn right on A307, leading right into Kingston.
It is 50 miles and takes just over an hour.
Parking
If you are needing to park near the centre of town choose from a variety of spaces.Ashdown Road Car Park is open 24 hours and is close to the high street with enough parking spaces. Payment is easy via the app.
Old Bridge Street Car Park Quiet car park. They use RingGo for payment. No return for 1 hour, the price is reasonable at £2.65 for the maximum 2 hours.
Canbury Place Car Park is another 24-hour choice and only costs £4.20 overnight.

Walkability
With a 98 out of 100 Walk Score, it is safe to say this is a walkable area, and not just safe but pretty too. There are huge parks in every direction, Richmond even has a deer park.

If you are staying in the area when on your training course you might try The Bull and Bush Hotel Kingston which is on a residential street in a converted pub, this budget hotel is an 11-minute walk from Norbiton train station, providing links to central London.

A trustworthy option is Travelodge London Kingston Upon Thames it is a 4 minute walk from Kingston train station, and costs £66 a night.
Food
