Getting to Your Training Venue in London Hayes and Southall

Train
To reach the training venue in London Hayes and Southall, three train stations are available:

Southall Train Station
The Straight, Southall UB2 4AA, United Kingdom

Hayes & Harlington Train Station
Hayes UB3 1AD, United Kingdom

Greenford Train Station
Oldfield Ln N, Greenford UB6 8PX, United Kingdom

From Southall train station, take Line 105 bus and alight at Southall Broadway. Then, transfer to Line 207 bus and get off at Yeading, Delamere Road, where you can go on foot for 3 minutes to the training venue. Alternatively, you can take a 5-minute taxi ride or walk for about 28 minutes from the train station to the training venue.

Coming from Hayes & Harlington Train Station, you'll need to catch the Line 140 bus and alight at Wood End - The Grapes after seven stops. From there, walk for about 13 minutes or approximately 1.1 km to the training venue. You can also ride a taxi but it’s likely to cost £16 - £20 for a 4-minute taxi ride. If you prefer walking, you can walk for 35 minutes to the venue.

Greenford Train Station is the farthest train station. From the station, catch line 105 bus and get off at Southall Broadway. You’ll need to transfer to another bus from Southall, Alexandra Avenue, where you’ll take bus number 207, N207 or 427 going to Yeading, Delamere Road. From the bus stop, walk for about 300 yards to the training venue. The fastest route to the venue from Greenford Train Station is by taking a taxi, but it will cost £25 - £30. Walking may not be an option since it will take an hour for you to get there. 

 

Parking
Staying at Hyatt Place offers you a paid public parking space that would cost you £13 for an overnight stay. For other parking alternatives nearby, you can try Herbert Road Car Park for £1.50 per hour on weekdays or Southall Market Parking for £1.20 per hour on weekdays and weekends but free on bank holidays. If you plan to go to the shopping centres such as Hayes Shopping Centre, Pump Lane Car Park is a good choice.

If you don't have time to spare to look for food out, Hyatt Place's Zoom Restaurant - Global Diner offers casual dining for a quick coffee break and snack. For more food choices, venture to the main road The Broadway and you'll find a strip of restaurants and fast-food chains. Just across the training venue is Desi Tadka, where you can buy traditional Punjabi curry. 

As you go along The Broadway road, you'll find Indian food at Taste of Lahore Southall. If you are into seafood, Bronek’s Fish Restaurant serves classic fish and chips, as well as hot smoked salmon and calamari. 

 

SIA Job Opportunities in London Hayes and Southall
You can expect to find security jobs at night in clubs, bars and during the day in shopping centres such as Himalaya Shopping Centre or Hayes Shopping Centre. Hillingdon Hospital and Ealing Hospital, always need around the clock security staff. And since it is close to Heathrow Airport, security officers are also in high demand.
