Getting to Your Training Venue in Northampton

Train
Make it easy to travel to the training venue via our transportation recommendations. Whether by bus or train, there are several options to choose from:

Northampton Train Station
Northampton NN1 1SP, United Kingdom

Northampton Bus Interchange
Northampton NN1 2LT, United Kingdom

The Northampton Train Station is about 5.3 km away from the training venue. From the train station, walk for about 8 minutes to Northampton Bus Interchange where you’ll take bus number 12, 12A, or 41. Get off at Brackmills, Holiday Inn Bus Stop and walk for about 230 yards to the training venue.

Taking the bus from the train station will take about an hour of travel time. If you prefer a faster route, we recommend taking a taxi from the train station, which is about 7 minutes travel time and costs £8 - £11.

Parking
The Holiday Inn Northampton has a car park available for guests and those using conference facilities. Guests parking onsite must register and enter their car registration details at the reception to have access to free parking. For off-site parking, free parking is available at the back of the hotel. If you want to grab a bite to eat in the town centre, you can park at any of these car parks:

Midsummer Meadow Carpark
Bedford Rd, Northampton NN1 5NG.

The Ridings Car Park
The Ridings, Northampton NN1 2AB.

Market Street Car Park

Walkability
The location of the training venue at Bedford Road has a walk score of 26 out of 100, which means walking may not be an option to travel to places in the area. You will need to depend on a car most of the time to do errands and grab refreshments or eat out.

Accommodation
You will find a handful of hotels along Bedford Road. The training venue is Holiday Inn Northampton, a 3-star hotel serving Indian and European cuisine. For a lower rate per night, you can try Premier Inn Northampton, a modern budget hotel. If you don't mind going a bit farther from the training venue, there are more hotels and guesthouses in the centre such as Oscar Lodge, Travelodge Northampton Central, and ibis Northampton Centre. These budget-hotels are about 3 km away and less than 10 minutes by car from the training venue. You can check for some more affordable hotel deals here.

Food
Hotel restaurants are the most accessible places to eat. If you prefer staying in the hotel venue, the dishes offered are mostly international cuisine, either ala carte or buffet. However, you can expect prices to be more expensive in these places. Alternatively, head into the town centre and discover some great inexpensive restaurants to grab some tasty food. For coffee and pastry lovers out there, check out Dreams Coffee Lounge and try their home-baked goodies.

For lunch or dinner, try Andrea's Restaurant for a hearty homemade pizza and pasta for an affordable price. Maybe try a shake from Bosko's - Burgers, Shakes & Desserts. However, if you don’t fancy a change, you’ll find fast-food classics such as McDonald’s, Burger King and Subway in the town centre.
