What is a collective worship copyright licence?

The collective worship copyright licence permits schools to project or print the words and music of a huge number of popular hymns and assembly songs during times of Collective Worship.

This is especially necessary for Christian schools and schools that wish to participate in Christian assembly singing. With a collective worship copyright licence, licence holders will be able to project lyrics onto a big screen, as well as print song and service sheets to be able to distribute to individuals within the school.

With the collective worship copyright licence, schools are also covered to make musical arrangements for transposing instruments where a published version does not exist, and even record songs sung during assemblies.

REMEMBER - You are infringing copyright laws and could be sued for damages if you reproduce the words of hymns or worship songs without a collective worship copyright licence.

Collective worship copyright licence applications must be made via CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International) (CCLI).
