Greenwich is a town in south-east London, England, within the ceremonial county of Greater London. It is situated 6.3 miles east-southeast of Euston.
With its Naval buildings and rich Maritime history, Greenwich attained Royal borough status due to its links to Royal heritage. The town is world-famous for its prime meridian of 0° longitude which creates Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), upon which the whole world bases clock time.
Tourism is becoming an increasingly important factor in Greenwich's economy. In 2015, 18.5 million people were expected to visit the borough for a day or more, generating over £1.2 billion; this figure has increased by more than 25% over the following years.
By Train
If you are coming into London on the overland train you can take an Avanti West Coast and arrive at the National Rail station at Euston, from there you get the tube. Firstly jump on a Northern line - Morden train and get off at London Bridge. Change there for the Southern service to New Cross Gate. Totalling 31 minutes. From there it is a short walk to your venue.
