What is the director’s role for health and safety training course?
The Director’s Role for Health and Safety in Construction training course has been designed for company Directors with the aim of recognising the human and financial implications of health and safety legislation non-compliance.
This course will run workshop exercises throughout the day and give delegates the opportunity to discuss their thoughts about health and safety and their responsibilities in an open forum.
The day concludes with delegates preparing an action plan for use when they return to the workplace. This will include a checklist to utilise within their organisations that will help to ensure compliance with legislation.
What happens after the course?
On successful completion of the Director’s Role for Health and Safety in Construction training course, candidates will be awarded with a Director’s Role for Health and Safety in Construction certificate accredited by the CITB, which is valid for five years.
This certificate is recognised by most UK construction companies and will also allow you to gain membership of organisations such as APS, IOSH etc.
