FAQ

The need for quality training of Closed Circuit Television (Public Space Surveillance) Operatives has long been recognised. Too often a highly sophisticated system has been carefully planned, expertly installed and commissioned with little or no thought given to the training of those people responsible for its use. This three-day course is designed to assist companies in the provision of basic job training that meets the SIA requirements for licensing. Delegates will gain an in-depth understanding of the current legislation pertinent to their work and invaluable knowledge relating to the purpose and principles of CCTV surveillance systems.

This course is appropriate to new entrants to the industry; people transferring from other security functions, as well as those, whose job includes some elements of Closed Circuit Television (Public Space Surveillance), and existing security staff requiring a qualification in order to apply for an SIA licence.

On completion of this course, candidates will have achieved the required level of knowledge and understanding in the areas listed.

You can book the course online (Click here to Book Online) or by calling us on 0845 838 7074.

Yes you can pay using your credit card or debit card on the internet, and over the phone, however we do not accept card payments at the venue.

Your training provider will depend on your location and the particular course you've booked. You will receive full details of your training provider once you've booked and paid for your course.

When you book and pay, we hold your funds securely, until after your course date. The provider of the class(es) will receive your payment directly from us 1 week after this date. This protects both us and you from providers who might set up pretending to provide classes that don't exist and so keep us both safe from fraud.

You are booking with the provider of the courses or class that want to attend, not with Get Licensed. Get Licensed Marketplace is simply the booking platform - we provide the technology and the payment processing that allows you to book online, but the provider of the course or class is who you are booking with. They are responsible for the delivery of the class, not Get Licensed, and your contract is with the provider of the class, not Get Licensed.

Since all bookings are taken using Get Licensed secure booking and payment system, the name that will appear on your statement will be Get Licensed/EFS, rather than that of the provider of the class.

Once you have booked and paid, we will send you the provider's details so that you can make contact if you need to. We will also send the provider your contact details so that they can talk to you if there is subsequently a problem. We do not release your contact details or those of the provider until after your booking is confirmed to protect buyers and seller and protect the integrity of the Marketplace

If you completed the booking process and did not receive any error messages along the way, then this means that it is possible that your email confirmation has become stuck in spam or junk mail filters. Please check your junk mail folders for the email. If you still cannot find the email, then please contact us at using the green support tab on our homepage in order to be sent another copy of your booking confirmation.

You need to take this up with the provider of the class, not with Get Licensed. Get Licensed's role is to provide you with access to as wide a range of options for classes as possible, and to make it easy to book them online, but we cannot arbitrate between attendees and providers over disagreements about class content.

When you buy a class using Get Licensed Marketplace, you do so on the basis of the information supplied by the provider at the time of booking, so any queries or disputes need to be raised with the provider directly. The information provided about classes and providers is created by the provider, not by Get Licensed and by booking using this platform, you acknowledge this.

Whilst I thought Quasar a good instructor I wasn't always sure of when he was asking a question but he made the course interesting and on occasion threw in snippets of his practical exp
