If you are getting off at the Chester Station, you’ll need only one minute to get to the Queen at Chester Hotel. Head southwest on City Rd toward Station Rd then turn left at Station Rd, where you will find the venue on the right side.

From Bache Rail Station, board the Chester train that takes 6 minutes to get to Chester Station.

From Capenhurst Rail Station, catch the Chester bound train at Platform 1 that operates every 20 minutes. Alight after 2 stops at the Chester Station.

 

Parking
The venue hotel charges for parking, although the website doesn’t state how much the charges are. You can park close by for around £4 per day. If you are heading to Wrexham centre for some lunch these are some safe and secure car parks:

City Road, where the venue is located, has a walk score of 86/100. Whether you want to go to the ATM, cafe or shopping, you’re sure to do most of your errands on foot.

 

Accommodation
If you choose to stay over for the course, then Queen at Chester Hotel prices aren’t the cheapest going. The hotel’s proximity to the Chester Station means it’s not the best value option. The Queen Hotel is a 4-star hotel that is pet-friendly, air-conditioned and has a restaurant. 

But you can find cheaper options south and west of Queen at Chester Hotel. The Travelodge Chester Central Bridge Street, Chester Station Hotel | Sure Collection by Best Western and The Belgrave Hotel are excellent value options. Check out here for more hotel deals.

 

Food
While you can grab lunch at the venue, you can find some inexpensive places to eat nearby. However, you’ll need a car for the various eateries. South of the venue, you will find Artichoke Cafe Bar Bistro where you can get a hot lunch.

If you wish to savour different cuisines, head north where you’ll find an assortment of restaurants. The SHORT + STOUT and Little Yellow Pig have great breakfasts and delicious desserts.

West of the venue towards Hoole Way for approximately 3 minutes in a car, you will get to Brook Street Cafe. Go further south-west and find plenty of cafes to try out. There’s the Refectory Cafe, Marmalade, and Cafe Juno. All the cafes serve classic English breakfasts and sandwiches. The Eatery, a 9-minute drive from the venue, will leave you licking your fingers with their fish finger sandwich served with chips and a side salad.
