Getting to your training venue in Kidderminster

Train
Using the train to get to the venue is an excellent option if you are using public transport.

The station in Kidderminster is located at:

Kidderminster Train Station
Kidderminster DY10 1QZ.

It's just over half a mile to the venue from the train station, so it makes sense to head there on foot. It will only take you ten minutes. First, head north toward Station Approach for around 100 metres, turn right onto Station Approach for 10 metres, then left onto Comberton Hill for 300 metres.

At the roundabout, take the first exit, continue to the next roundabout on the ringway and take the second exit onto Coventry Street. Continue for 100 metres, then turn left onto Bromsgrove Street. The venue is on the right after about 40 metres.

Parking
The venue is at Kidderminster Youth House on Bromsgrove Street. You can park in several local car parks in the centre of Kidderminster close to the venue. The nearest is, of course, the one on Bromsgrove Street.

Bromsgrove Street Car Park
Bromsgrove St, Kidderminster DY10.

Swan Centre, Multi-Storey Car Park
4 Blackwell St, Kidderminster DY10 2DP.

Bull Ring Short Stay Car Park
Crown House, Bull Ring, Kidderminster DY10 2DS.

Walkability
The venue has a walk score of 94/100, making it a walker's paradise. You can reach local transport links, shops, businesses, banks, restaurants, and most everything you could need on foot.

Accommodation
If you are staying over for your course duration, then a good option would be the Travelodge in Kidderminster. Just head along Park Lane for around a mile which will take about 5 minutes in a car or 20 minutes on foot.

If that's full, there's another Travelodge a little way out of Kidderminster at Hartlebury, but it's still only a 12-minute drive to get there. These will be the best options for those on a budget as the area of Kidderminster has quite expensive hotels. You can check out availability and deals here.

Food
With the venue being at the heart of Kidderminster, you are spoiled for choice when it comes to grabbing a bite to eat at lunchtime. Keep it cheap and cheerful by grabbing a sausage roll or sandwich at Gregg's just a hundred metres walk from the venue. There's also M&S, Subway, McDonald's, Pizza Hut serving a lunch buffet, and the Kidderminster fish bar, all in easy reach.

There are tons of cafes in the centre of Kidderminster, including The Cosy Cafe, Cafe Pacifico, AJ's Diner, Morrison's cafe, Coffee#1 Kidderminster, Tesco's cafe, Sainsbury's cafe, and more.

If you are staying over and looking for an evening meal, you can get a great priced Chinese at the China Lodge on 21 Bewdley Road. Or grab a tasty but good value Indian at The Sher-e-Punjab at 48 George Street.
